The Wedding

Amanda and Mike's luxury, black tie inspired wedding was a classic Connecticut affair. The couple got ready in the bride's childhood home surrounded by sentimental details including custom embroidered shoes for the groom. The ceremony took place at the church of St. Cecilia in Stamford CT where Amanda made her way down the candle lined aisle to an emotional Mike. After vows were exchanged (and tears shed) the couple was whisked away in a Rolls Royce to their wedding venue at Woodway Country Club. While the newlyweds snuck away for a private photo session on the golf course, guests enjoyed the beautiful fall day with an outdoor Ralph-Lauren inspired cocktail hour full of custom moments including a signature drink, embossed napkins in Mike's handwriting, a memorial mantle, and a floral selfie mirror. The wedding processed into the reception New Orleans style, dancing and parading, led by The Hudson Horns. From there, the party kept going in the moody reception designed by CT Wedding Planner Sarah Brehant Events with pink and purple florals and fruits cascading on every table by Traveling Flower Ladies. Guest danced the night away into the after party with pizza by Colony Grill and a late night sweets bar provided by Sarah Brehant Events. This timeless, fall wedding left guests saying "this is SO Amanda & Mike" all night.
