Sarah Brehant Events planned and produced a modern, artful celebration for Kyle and Josh at Winvian Farm in Morris, Connecticut, where 150 guests gathered for a day built around intentional design and genuine connection. The couple made the most of a full wedding weekend, kicking things off with a rehearsal dinner at Winvian before heading to the Litchfield Inn for a welcome party. The next day brought a relaxed pool party back at Winvian, complete with a food truck from Forks & Fingers, before the celebration built toward the main event. Sound for both the welcome party and pool party was provided by Nightshift Entertainment, setting the tone for a weekend defined by friends, family, and taking full advantage of everything the property had to offer.
Traveling Flower Ladies brought the wedding day’s sunset-inspired palette to life with lush, movement-filled florals that carried the warmth of coral and amber tones against rich greens, soft neutrals, and an unexpected pop of blue throughout the ceremony and reception.
Newport Tent provided the tenting and flooring that grounded the reception space, while FORM, Luxe, and Party Rental LTD layered in furniture and rentals that struck the perfect balance between elevated and inviting. Every piece was chosen with intention, giving the space a modern, editorial feel without losing its warmth.
Shindig designed the lighting and draping that shaped the atmosphere as the evening moved from golden hour into night, casting a soft glow over the tent and highlighting the layered textures within the design. Hair and makeup by Upstyle gave Kyle and Josh’s crew a polished, camera-ready finish for a day that carried across a full weekend of celebration. Guests enjoyed a relaxed, elevated evening of cocktail hour and dinner before the night took an unforgettable turn.
To close out the reception, American Thunder lit up the Connecticut sky with a private fireworks show, launching the party straight into the barn where Nightshift Entertainment kept the dance floor full for a high-energy night of dancing. It was the kind of moment that captured exactly what Kyle and Josh wanted for their day — classy and artful, but never taking itself too seriously.
