I’ve been saying it over and over again over on Instagram – this summer has been one of the most incredible years in weddings in my entire career. You have no idea how much this work fills up my cup. If you are looking for a wedding planner and designer who cares as much about every detail as you do, you can find out more about working with me here. Or jump straight to the good stuff and reach out! Brehant Creations proudly serves love of all kinds.

Best Wedding Venues in Connecticut
The Lace Factory
The Lace Factory has been a favorite of mine since I first started planning weddings in Connecticut. It has an industrial vibe which means the venue itself offers a blank slate to suite whatever YOUR aesthetic is. The natural lighting here is INCREDIBLE. I’ve executed a few different styled shoots on the property so when you check out their website, you can find some photos of my recent work! No two weddings look the same here.

Chatfield Hollow Inn
Chatfield Hollow Inn is an incredible 26 acre property located close to the stunning Connecticut shoreline. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding venue (either open air or tented), the grounds here are simply stunning. Better yet, you can spend your first night as a married couple in their newly renovated gorgeous inn.
Eolia Mansion
If you are looking for a gorgeous outdoor wedding venue, the Eolia Mansion has 230 seaside acres of sweeping lawns which means the options are truly endless for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Eolia Mansion hosts only one wedding per day, so you receive the attention and privacy you deserve.

Belle Mer
Dreaming of an oceanfront wedding? Belle Mer embodies the beauty Rhode Island is known for. Set in Newport, Belle Mer is one of the top wedding venues in the state. It’s also a great option for those of you with a larger guest list – the ocean lawn can seat up to 500 guests for your reception. Or, if you are leaning into the new wave of micro weddings, their loft venue is the perfect setting with 360 degree views and space to host 30 guests.
Rosecliff Mansion
If you are dreaming of a European feel in Newport, the Rosecliff Mansion was modeled after the Grand Trianon, the garden retreat of French Kinds at Versailles. Are you a movie buff? You may recognize this property from scenes from several films including The Great Gatsby and 27 Dresses.
Roger Williams Botanical Gardens
By now you can tell I love outdoor wedding venues, right? Home to one of the largest glasshouse displays in New England, Roger Williams Botanical Gardens hosts weddings and private events in their unique Casino space, inside their 2300 square foot greenhouse, or their outdoor tent space with a beautiful water backdrop and a hard floor (great for an entire night of dancing!).
Blithewood Mansion
With views of Narragansett Bay, the Blithewood Mansion is a 33-acre summer estate with both historical charm and natural elegance. If you are looking for a unique wedding day experience, you can start your wedding ceremony in their north Garden, enjoy cocktail hour on one of the mansions terraces, and finally host your wedding reception in their Century Wedding Tent and wedding pavilion. All the while, guests can stroll the gardens and enjoy the history, just as guests at the Blithewood Mansion would have done for hundreds of years.

Finally, Consider a Backyard Wedding!
I don’t want to sugarcoat anything with you! Finding a venue for prime dates in 2022, might be tough. Fortunately, you can always consider a backyard wedding! Although backyard weddings take a bit more planning and design work (after all, you’re building a venue from the ground up!), it’s worth the effort if you are looking for something completely custom you can’t get anywhere else!
Did I mention I’m up for the challenge? Choosing a wedding venue (and planning your wedding) is not something you should do alone! Seriously, whether you choose from one of the best wedding venues in Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York, or we make magic in your own backyard, I would love to help bring your wedding day vision to life so that it’s so much better than you could have ever imagined!
